About Me

I have always had an appreciation for photography. I find it quite fascinating being able to capture the essence and life of a person in the still of time. While living in Santa Barbara I had many friends who were photographers who inspired me to pursue my interest in photography, and after many years of learning and experimenting, I have finally found my visual voice.

Life is unscripted, and thus each moment is unique. These irreplaceable stories are truly priceless legacies that when captured in a photograph can tangibly make memories last forever.

The unscripted passing of my mother in 2005 made me cherish this concept even more. Fortunately, I not only have great memories but also reminiscing photos that captured the person she was. As a result, my passion for photography focused on capturing individual’s lives in a very candid, everyday kind of way that illustrates the character, personalities, and stories of the people I photograph.

Whether volunteering locally or partnering with international non-profits, as a man of faith, I believe it is my responsibility to, “seek justice, encourage the oppressed, defend the cause of the fatherless, and plead the case of the widow” (Isaiah 1:17). My passion for exposing the truths of human injustices coupled with my passion for photography has also led me to use my visual voice in empower and raise awareness to people to enact change.
