The Freeman Family: Lebanon, Oregon

I have the pleasure to introduce you to the Freeman Family. They were all such great sports considering it was raining for most of our shoot. We all toughed it out and got some memorable shots. One thing that I enjoy about this family is that they each have distinct vibrant fun personalities. I truly enjoyed my time interacting with each of them, they made my job easy. Here are our images while being in the rain.

The Hess Family: Lebanon, OR

While I was up in Oregon, I was able to take some photos of the Hess Family. They each have so much personality! Despite the weather being in the 30′s they all managed to make it look effortless. We were rushing against the sun to crank out these shots! To make matter even more complicated, while at the old train station, a train came and disrupted our shoot. For a minute I didn’t think we were going to have tankers for the background. Anyways, we were able to get the images we needed. Here are a few of those photos.

Family Photos: The Dennis Family

A yearly tradition at thanksgiving is to take family photos. It a great way to capture each year as we all get a bit older. Here are some of the shots from that day!

Thanksgiving Mini Desserts

I love the holidays! It’s my favorite time to slow things down and enjoy time with family and friends. This year one of my sisters decided to host thanksgiving dinner. She also choose to host an even larger party the following day. Here are some of her creations for the mini dessert buffet for that party.

Emily - whoa, Rob! Those are awesome!!!!

RobWang - Thanks Emily! It was fun to be able to show off my sisters skills.

Erin Wright - You make these look SO good! Wow. :)

Nika Collective: Empowering Women to Make a Difference

I am so excited to introduce you to Nika Collective. This was started by a friend of mine who is so passionate to make a difference in the lives of women in Nicaragua. Please check out the website She has the ingenious idea to help teach vocational skills to women who are in situations where they are not able to provide for their families. One of the leading causes for orphaned children in this region, is the inability for single mothers to adequately provide for their children. These mothers are then confronted with the choice to abandon their children in the hopes of a better future or to continue to live in desperation risking the health & wellness of themselves and their children. If these women were afforded opportunity to become empowered, they would then be able to address the care and support of their own lives & children while improving the community around them. Nika Collection is currently having women make snag free hair ties. The women are taught how to make these accessories and are paid well for their work. These hair ties are then sold, permitting more women to become empowered and taking steps to improve the situations in which they find themselves. If you would like to become involved, help is needed. Feel free to contact myself or Nika Collection directly. Here are two quick snap shots I took before I started to sell these hair ties.
